Kylie Jenner Lawsuit: Former Housekeeper’s Shocking Claims Rock Hidden Hills Mansion

As is often the case, the complaint was received on April 17 in a quiet manner. Angelica Hernandez Vasquez, a former housekeeper, entered a Los Angeles courtroom and recorded what she claims happened behind Kylie Jenner’s Hidden Hills property’s gates over the course of eleven months. As you turn the pages, you get a sense that the details are too specific to be made up. Fingers snapped. Thrown at her feet were hangers. She was made fun of for her accent. It’s not a story from the press; it’s the feel of a workplace.

Vasquez started working for Jenner in September 2024. According to the filing, she is a Salvadoran woman who practices Catholicism. According to her, the animosity began practically right away. She claims that she was frequently given the most difficult assignments, ignored by the other housekeeping employees, and denigrated in ways that kept coming back to her origins, her voice, and her beliefs. She claims that remarks regarding the deportation of coworkers and the citizenship status of other employees were made; these boasts appeared to be intended to remind her of her position.

This script feels so familiar that it’s difficult to ignore. Not because Jenner has ever been charged with anything similar, but rather because celebrity households typically function like tiny, uncontrolled kingdoms, and the people who clean them seldom give public speeches. When they do, the machinery starts working quickly: quiet settlements, denials, and statements. Requests for comment from the media have not yet received a response from Jenner’s representative. Though it’s unlikely that onlookers will interpret it that way, that silence is a sort of response in and of itself.

The two staffing firms that officially hired Vasquez, Tri Star Services and La Maison Family Services, are named in the lawsuit along with Jenner and her business, Kylie Jenner Inc. It is not stated that Jenner is the harasser. Her supervisors, the head housekeeper, and another staff lead are all accused. However, the legal argument is simple: the household should have known about it and failed to prevent it.

The filing has another thread that could be equally harmful. Vasquez asserts that she was frequently dispatched to clean at Timothée Chalamet’s Los Angeles home and other locations outside of Jenner’s personal residences without receiving payment for mileage or transportation. When you consider the claims of unpaid overtime, missed breaks, and delayed wages, you begin to see a pattern that the California Labor Code takes seriously. Compared to harassment claims, wage-and-hour cases are typically less glamorous but more costly to lose.

The most memorable event is the one Vasquez recounts from March 2025. She claims that she had voiced concerns about the treatment she was receiving. In retaliation, a supervisor is said to have reprimanded her and thrown hangers at her feet. It’s a minor, peculiar detail that is humiliating in a way that implies something had curdled in that house long before the lawsuit was drafted, rather than violent in the dramatic sense. After eleven months, she resigned in August.

The standard choreography follows. There has been a request for a jury trial. An injunction is being sought in addition to compensatory, punitive, and restitution damages. It’s highly likely that Jenner’s team will advocate for a quiet settlement or arbitration. What evidence Vasquez has retained will likely determine whether this remains in the tabloids or develops into something more serious. The receipts are usually more important than the headlines in situations like this.
