ArtReach makes great art possible and accessible, connecting art with grassroots and diverse communities to forge creative engagement
ArtReach is an arts and cultural development charity and Arts Council NPO, specialising in work with diverse artists, festival production and community outreach projects.
ArtReach works across a breadth of artistic disciplines to deliver high quality festivals across the UK and Europe, providing a platform for new and interesting work by underrepresented artists. We deliver two key festivals:
Journeys Festival International showcases the work of refugee and asylum seeker artists and provides opportunities for learning and engagement with refugee stories through creativity. www.journeysfestival.com
Night of Festivals is a free-access outdoor event that uses world music, carnival, large-scale puppets, and visual art to celebrate the values of freedom.
Our work with children and young people is intrinsic to all of our work and offers opportunities for them to work with professional artists, perform as part of carnival parades, learn about important issues through accessible creative projects and explore a range of artforms from different cultures. ArtReach is an Arts Awards Centre (DISCOVER-SILVER) and Artsmark supporter.
